Identity

This week I thought it would be interesting to talk about identity. A recent poll cited in this BBC article shows that there is a rise in the number of people identifying as global citizens. Meanwhile, others place more importance on their religious, national, or local identities. I know that Spain placed more emphasis on local identity in the past; I'm curious if/how you all feel this is changing.

Additionally, the poll shows that Spain is the country that is the most open to accepting more for Syrian refugees, with 95% of people wanting to do more. I'm curious what you all think about that as well.
