I'm sure most people agree that it is good to be diplomatic
in our interactions with others. This applies to nations as well. As
the world becomes more and more globalized maintaining constructive
relationships will become ever more important.
The U.S. is arguably the world's most powerful
country. How has diplomacy changed under the new administration?
How important are diplomats and what is their role this
process? Should nations emphasize diplomacy over hard power? What
is Spain's position globally when it comes to diplomacy? What
confrontations have been able to be resolved in the past through diplomacy?
I look forward to discussing these questions and more on
Tuesday.
