This week I thought it would be fun to talk about one of my
favorite holiday traditions in the US. Every year, many elementary school
classes, businesses, and families sign up to adopt a needy family for
Christmas. This tradition is run through local branches of the Salvation Army.
The Salvation Army is an organization that helps distribute donated clothing
and food to those in need throughout the year by.
