Another European city will experiment with giving people unconditional free money

In this week's news, Lausanne, Switzerland passed a motion to experiment with providing universal income to its citizens. The article explains that conservatives support the motion because it will cut down on the bureaucracy of the welfare state, while liberals are in favor of the solid safety net it will give to all citizens.

I'm curious what you think of these experimental programs, and if you could imagine something like this happening in Spain.
